- 240 grams Cabbage
- 10 Green onions
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Red pickled ginger
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 200 ml ★Store-bought okonomiyaki powder
- 200 ml ★Water
- 10 grams ★Butter
- 2 tbsp ★Milk
- 150 grams Pork
- 1 apply before serving Okonomiyaki sauce
- 1 apply before serving Mayonnaise
- 1 apply before serving Bonito flakes
Steps to make to make Okonomiyaki
- For the okonomiyaki powder: Check the back of the packaging and use water and powder at a 1:1 ratio.
- Cut the cabbage into strips, cut the onions and ginger into small pieces then add all of it into a bowl along with the eggs and mayonnaise.
- Mix all the ★ marked ingredients together. Microwave the butter.
- Mix the ingredients from Steps 2 and 3 together.
- Start grilling the batter, making sure to only use half of the batter as the recipe makes two.
- Lightly coat the pan with oil. Grill on low to medium heat for 3 minutes. Place the pork on top of the okonomiyaki while grilling.
- After 3 minutes, grab the pan handle and do your best to flip the okonomiyaki over.
- Flipping it puts the pork on the bottom. While the heat is low to medium heat, cover the pan with a lid and grill for 9 minutes.
- Now it's done! Just top it with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise and bonito flakes and eat.
